$11M Announced in Pipestem Renovations and Upgrades

PIPESTEM – Gov. Jim Justice announced about $11 million in renovations and expansion underway at Pipestem Resort State Park during a press conference held in January. Justice described Pipestem Resort State Park as a “premier destination” for tourism.

Justice visited Pipestem Resort State Park to discuss expansion projects. The investment, funded by state bonds approved by the Legislature, are intended to promote economic growth for the region. Planned improvements include a new zipline course that crosses the Bluestone Gorge, tram renovations, lodge, cabin and campground upgrades and much more. These improvements are geared towards driving renewed interest and recreational opportunities for both Mercer County and Summers County residents and tourists alike.
